Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, Managing Director of State Housing Company company says the Nation’s Number 1 builder “is awake now and there’s no going back. SHC is resuscitated”.
Ahead of the naming ceremony of the Katakyie Kwasi Bumangama Estate in Sefwi Wiawso, an SHC project, the MD interacted with a section of the media where he stated that the company was on tract.
Mr. Ampofo Appiah commended the Omanehene of Sefwi Wiaswso Traditional area in the Western Region for gifting about five hundred acres of land to the company for the construction of houses to serve the working class.
According to him, SHC is keen on delivering on social housing for many Ghanaians across the country.
‘We are poised on delivering social housing for the ordinary Ghanaians to catch up with the housing deficit in the country’ he said.
He was quick to add that SHC does not calculate its profit like the private sector hence SHC houses being on the low side to enable the ordinary Ghanaian afford houses in the country.
We have reduced the cost of our houses to enable the ordinary working Ghanaian to also afford a decent house he said.
