The State Housing Company Limited (SHCL) has commissioned a 9-unit apartment complex, Seasons Court Annex, in Adenta, featuring a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom affordable units.
The project, which was fully sold out prior to commissioning, reflects the growing demand for quality housing across the country.
At the commissioning event, SHCL Managing Director, Mr. John S. Bawah, described the development as a step forward in tackling Ghana’s housing needs and a signal of bigger things to come.
“This is just the beginning. With continued support, we’ll in the next three years be commissioning not just 9 units, but 1,500,” he said.

Mr. Bawah added that SHCL’s approach is closely aligned with the government’s 24-hour economy policy, noting the importance of secure and affordable homes for shift workers and their families.
“In a 24-hour economy, people need homes they can rely on day or night for safety and security. That’s our job,” he emphasized.
The Seasons Court apartments, he underscored, are part of SHCL’s broader plan to scale up housing delivery across Ghana, in partnership with private sector developers, and to bridge the 1.8 million housing deficit.

The ceremony was attended by the Board Chairman, some board members, top management, including the Deputy Managing Director, Lawyer Samuel Atukwei Quaye, and Head of Legal Rita A. Fofie.

The rest are Head of HR, Gloria Arthur, Head of Estate Development, Mr. Eric Tetteh, and the Head of Internal Audit, Mr. Ignatius Ocran, as well as Head of Finance, Mr. William Kaletsi.
