Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, Minister of Public Enterprises on Monday paid a one-day working visit to office of State Housing to familiarize himself with activities of the Nation’s No. 1 Builder.
Managing Director of State Housing Company, Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah welcoming the Minister to the Adenta Office said it “was the first time that a Minister aside Works and Housing Minister had visited SHC” and so Management was encouraged.
Mr. Ampofo Appiah took the Minister and his entourage through the activities of SHC giving the current status of the company. “We have managed to use internally generated funds to execute all our projects. Now we have projects littered across the country”.
Hon. Joseph Cudjoe who was clearly impressed with the performance of SHC said he would liaise with government to resolve challenges SHC was currently facing. He was very enthused about the land banks the new Management had secured for the company.
He was then taken on a tour of project sites in Adenta.
He disclosed that his Ministry and the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) would be seeking strategic partners for State Owned-Entities (SOEs) including SHC.
He was accompanied by Madam Christina Edmund, Chief Director, Mr. Samuel Aning, Policy Analyst, Belinda Bediako Asiedu, Assistant Director, and others.
